A few months ago when I was just getting into Jillian Michaels 30 day shred I hurt my calf really REALLY bad so I had to stop and slowly try to get back into it. Its not really happening. . . . =( Maybe wrap your ankles and go for leisurely walks to try and strengthen your ankles?? shheesshh! sorry I feel your pain!Suzannenoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2751321971481045899.post-76605911431690678892011-08-15T20:07:21.085-06:002011-08-15T20:07:21.085-06:00I had the same issues when I first started running...I had the same issues when I first started running and I thought it was just because I had weak ankles and short calf muscles (life long tippy toe walker). It was impossible for me to wear heels while I was actively running. Only flip flops and chucks kept my ankles, calves and shins sane. Do lots of ankle rotations in each direction and be sure to stretch your calves and shins. It will help speed the healing process.cassie_snoreply@blogger.com
