While I get back into the blogging world, please enjoy these photos from our long road trip. As in we went through 11 states (the 11th being Ohio). We may have taken a long detour to visit a friend, which was well worth it because we love meeting her finally!

The Big Texan in Amarillo, TX.

Wind farm as we drove through Oklahoma.

Pretty sure that's not where my iced tea should be...

Emmett was passed out for most of the trip, though this was one of his more passed out moments.

Sometimes I would harass him. If you could see his eyes you would be able to tell that he didn't approve.

Bridge over the Mississippi River.

I dream about these burgers. It's one of the things I looked most forward to on this trip!

Om nom nom.

Some jerk was on our butt the whole trip. Some cars...gosh.

Laddie, Nate and Emmett walking in downtown Athens, GA.

Someone forgot their love lube in the drawer at one of our hotel rooms. This made me giggle.

Fresh boiled peanuts, OMG I adore you.

After 1500+ miles of towing the Versa, we made it to Ohio safe and sound.

And now...our new home, to start our new journey.

So there the last of our trip out to Ohio. Soon I should have some pictures of our home being set up and some other things. Once things get more unpacked here I will be able to get back to more frequent posts.

Hope your Monday was great!

  4. They aren't White Castle burgers, but close. They are Krystal burgers which is pretty much the Southern version of White Castle. We noticed as we drove south to north in Kentucky that the burgers slowly went from Krystal to White Castle. The other funny thing was that I have never had a "real" White Castle till we moved here, I only had the frozen ones you can buy at the grocery store!
