St. Patties and a birthday

I know my post is a little late, especially with the way I have been pushing green, so thank you for waiting my lovelies.

Today is a bitter sweet day. I have my green on...I may need to go pinch my husband for not wearing any...corned beef (minus the cabbage) is about to be cooked, but my mom is not here to celebrate what would have been her 62nd birthday.

It's hard not having her around, especially today. This was not only her birthday, but it was so her holiday. She'd come out of her bedroom sporting her green and pinching anyone who wasn't wearing any. She never let me get away with wearing "seafoam" or a gray/green. She'd usually set off to preparing corned beef and cabbage and the house would smell heavenly. Luckily she taught me how to wear green and how to cook a damn tasty corned beef!

In honor of her day (she was part Irish as well), I am sharing my must have greens from Etsy and some of my favorite green outfits that I have worn. Later tonight I will post about the corned beef!
