TRIA progress (with pictures)

Before I run off for the night, I decided that I sould share my current leg hair growth here. As in actual photo proof so you can see the results for yourself. Thank you for the few people who commented that they wanted to see the photos, it's nice to know that there are people who are interested to see the changes.

For reference you can see what my legs started out like (without being shaved) in this post.

Again...I will warn you that you will be looking at pictures of my hairy legs. If you do not want to see them, then please don't read/look on any further. I'm post these because I want other people, who are actually interested in this product, to be able to see if there is progress.

For those that want to see the photos I took two weeks after the 3rd session (these were taken today before I shaved and started my 4th session), then here we go...

Without flash (yes I am that pale).

With flash.

I decided to show the two pictures because I think both of them show the patches of hair free skin in different ways. The patch, to me, seems to zig-zag through the top part of my leg (up near my shin). Keep in mind this is two weeks of growth. I'm not shaving in between treatments because I don't want my skin to flair up and get irritated, because it can take weeks for my skin to calm down. I will stay that seeing my before picture, that my hair does also seem to be growing in thinner as well. It also seems as though that the thinnest hairs are the hairs that are being forced out (falling out).

So there is what my legs look like currently.

What do you think? Do you see a difference? Do you think it might be working? I'd really love to hear what you see and think about this.

  1. Oh it definitely looks like it's working!! How exciting!

  2. Thanks for going ahead and posting pictures! I can definitely see a difference :)

  3. I'm glad both of you can see something. I feel like sometimes I stare at my legs so much that I'm not actually seeing any difference, so it's great to hear what others think!

  4. I can see the difference, too! I'm so excited for you.

  5. I am a recent follower and looked at the previous posts... I think this is amazing! Looks like it's really working! I think it's great that you're willing to share "the ugly truth" with other people to show it working! Thanks for being so brave! :)

  6. Thanks for posting the pictures, and it definitely looks like it's working!

  7. Eeeeeek I get so excited every time you update this!
    I want one so bad!

  8. I think it is definitely working! I check every two weeks to see your progress as I am debating on whether to purchase or not. Do you think that the pain is lessening as you do more treatments?

  9. Anon: Honestly the pain is very random for me. If you have a low pain tolerance, you might have issues with the TRIA. They do say that you should slowly work your way up to each level so that you can get use to it.
I'm currently using it on the 3rd power level, which is right in the middle (runs level 1-5). The only time it really stings is if I hit a freckle at level 3 or if I missed a hair when shaving and it gets zapped, but the pain is very quick like a rubber band snap. The rest of the time I am fine. If anything I think I have grown more use to any pain.
